FinTech’s business model in Mexico, a preliminary analysis

This study analyzes the key success variables in a fintech´s business model. The data was obtained by questionnaire applied to fifteen Mexican fintech’s. Preliminary results show that variables, according significant correlation with firm´s growth, are: an efficient use of infrastructure, customer-oriented services, competitive wages and security information; more common type fintech operation is “payments mobile money services” followed “crowdfunding” “investments”. In Mexico, there not formal source makes easier knowledge industry, so originality lies on contribution better introductory understanding how operate, including other dimensions like social environmental ones which had been considering before. Its limitation number questioned firms, but future complementary studies could be done. It can concluded technological dimension most relevant for industry.
